Lightcatcher

L I G H T C A T C H E R

Impetuous now
trying to catch the light
audacious arms
outstretched
like
barren branches
coveting
those yellow strands
aching to feel
those
soft ribbons
of warmth
draping
like
Summer

Golldoggit. I KNOW I hit "follow" the last time i was here, but it never showed up on my list, so I've redone it and added this blog to my blogroll at Word Garden using the url this time.

Meanwhile, I love the way you've lit up certain letters to create a streak of light! I adore concrete poetry, but one doesn't see it much, maybe because it's hard to reproduce. Nicely done! :-)

This is very beautiful. I love what you did with the colours of the font - a little beam of light falling down your words and illuminating the meaning.

From the title to the final word, wonderful. I could see the images and feel the sun's warmth. Very special, Susannah.
